But otherwise, we all face the same struggles.  Even Mark McGwire has had his share of bad days.  (After 31 home runs, he decided to go for the record of 61 home runs.  But then he went to bat 29 times in a row without hitting a single home run.)  But in the end, he broke through and broke the record for the most home runs in a season.
